“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce welcomes the introduction of President-elect Biden’s American Rescue Plan. Specifically, we applaud the President-elect’s focus on vaccinations and on economic sectors and families that continue to suffer as the pandemic rages on. We must defeat COVID before we can restore our economy and that requires turbocharging our vaccination efforts. We look forward to working with the new administration and Congress on the details and in ensuring that any additional economic assistance is timely, targeted, and temporary.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) along with more than 140 national and local organizations today launched the “Build by the Fourth of July” campaign, urging newly elected and reelected members of Congress to enact a fiscally and environmentally responsible infrastructure package by the Fourth of July 2021.
The Employment and Training Administration rang in the new year by publishing half a dozen guidance documents pertaining to Unemployment Insurance (UI) programs addressed in the most recent COIVD relief package.
