Marty Durbin, Senior Vice President of Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement regarding President Biden’s announced climate goal.
"The U.S. Chamber of Commerce applauds Senators Schumer and Young for their leadership by introducing the Endless Frontiers Act. It is critically important that the nation maintain its leadership internationally by investing in key technology areas like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, quantum computing, and advanced communications. We look forward to working with Congress to ensure this legislation leads to further economic growth and recovery."
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Small Business Policy, Tom Sullivan released the following statement in response to President Biden’s revisions to the tax credit to compensate small businesses for providing paid time off for vaccines.
The approved vaccines are safe and effective.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Chamber Senior Vice President Rick Wade issued the following statement: “Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family of George Floyd. There has been much attention paid to the trial and today marks a step towards healing. As a nation, we need to remain steadfast in our pursuit of equality of opportunity for Black Americans and other people of color.

At the upcoming Leaders Summit on Climate, to be hosted by President Biden on April 22 & 23, Latin America will have a robust presence with eight regional heads of state in attendance. The Biden Administration brought a climate of change to Washington, and with it a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the region. We believe that Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) are essential and that emerging markets should strive to meet their targets and set even more ambitious goals.
