This Coalition Letter was sent to the Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Roger Wicker and Ranking Member Maria Cantwell, and House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Peter DeFazio and Ranking Member Sam Graves, on the Federal Aviation Administration’s planned rulemaking on “Remote Identification of Unmanned Aircraft Systems." The letter was separately sent to Office of Management and Budget, and the Departments of Transportation, Defense, Justice, and Homeland Security.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Neil Bradley, Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement today in response to today’s White House announcement about 5G and rural broadband deployment.“It is imperative that America win the global race to 5G and close the digital divide here at home. The actions announced by the administration and taken by the FCC will speed the private sector deployment of broadband and bring us closer to both goals.
Over the decades of human space travel, thousands of objects are now in orbit above the earth. They include working satellites and the International Space Station, but they also include old, out-of-commission satellites, used rocket components, and even a wrench and toothbrush.
