Andrea Porwoll joins the U.S. Chamber after serving in key roles in Congress, most notably as Communications Director for House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, where she managed the Speaker’s communications team and guided media strategy.

Andrea has held a variety of communications roles in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the Speaker’s Office, she served as Communications Director for the U.S. Committee on House Administration, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and in top communications roles for Reps. Rick Allen (R-GA) and Jim Banks (R-IN). She has also advised corporate clients in the finance, health care, energy, and entertainment sectors on policy and political matters.

She is a graduate of Florida State University.
