Kendall Stephenson

Kendall Stephenson is a Senior Manager of Policy for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Energy Institute (GEI). She works closely with the team on both domestic and international climate policy and regulatory issues such as the implementation of the Infrastructure, Investment, and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Specifically, Stephenson leads the Chamber’s work on Hydrogen, developing and implementing strategies in support of the Chamber’s broader advocacy efforts surrounding the role of hydrogen in the energy transition.
Stephenson was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and a double minor in History and Education. While at UNC, she spent a semester abroad in London, England, where she interned at an education non-profit focused on encouraging youths to become informed, active, and engaged citizens. Additionally, Stephenson interned on the Hill, working for Members of Congress from North Carolina in both the Senate and the House.
Currently, Stephenson resides in D.C. where she enjoys long walks around the city and doing The New York Times daily mini crossword puzzle.
