Lyndsay Polloway

Lyndsay Polloway is vice president of Events at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she oversees the 2,500+ meetings and events that the Chamber executes annually in Washington and across the country and abroad. The Chamber’s 20-person events team spans expertise in event management, technology and audiovisual, catering, marketing and audience acquisition, content and programming, and design. Events range from intimate salon dinners to multi-day executive retreats to industry thought leadership tentpoles.
Before joining the Chamber in 2017, Polloway served as chief of staff and executive director of Operations for AtlanticLIVE, the live journalism division of The Atlantic magazine. At AtlanticLIVE, she oversaw personnel, revenue and budgeting, legal and compliance, and overall operations. In addition, Polloway led the division’s event management team with responsibility for masterminding the entire experience for 18,000 audience members, hundreds of speakers, and dozens of sponsors annually. She was instrumental in launching the annual CityLab summit series with Bloomberg Philanthropies and sister brand Quartz's live division.
In 2015, Polloway was named one of Folio magazine’s "Top Women in Media." She graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a double major in politics and romance languages. She was named W&L's Distinguished Young Alumna of the Year in 2016 and currently serves on the University’s Washington, D.C., Alumni Board.
