
Virgil Parker

Virgil Parker is a Manager for the Department of Strategic Alliances and Outreach at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and was previously a 2019-2020 U.S. Chamber Next-Gen Scholar. He serves as a Global Goals Ambassador for the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) and is a U.S. Fulbright Alumni Ambassador. As a Global Goals Ambassador, Mr. Parker advocates for U.S. leaders and countries around the world to adhere to the goals of Sustainable Development Goal #4: Quality Education.
As part of his work with UNA-USA, Parker has produced and co-moderated several national videos such as the 75th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day, the 2024 National Philanthropy Day, and the 2023 International Day of the Girl Child. He also led a commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and the 45th Anniversary of Education and Sharing Day. His work has been highlighted in Forbes, The Hill, the United Nations Foundation, Diverse Issues In Higher Education, and more.
