Willie Coetzee is the Director for Government Relations and Business Development for Honeywell’s Sustainable Technology Solutions business. Willie owns government relationships as it relates to Honeywell’s sustainable technology portfolio in the EMEA region, and is additionally responsible for business development activities relating to technology areas including, but not limited to, CO2 Capture, Hydrogen, Plastics Circularity and Renewable Fuels Willie has a Bachelor degree of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and has worked in several sectors, including industry, consulting and sustainability, before starting at Honeywell in 2017. Willie also has direct experience in the private sector, where he started a small company which converted food waste into valuable consumer products, for which he was selected as a finalist for the 2016 iChemE Dhirubhai Ambani Award for Outstanding Chemical Engineering Innovation for Resource-poor People.
