October 13, 2020
The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief urging the Third Circuit to hold that the Federal Arbitration Act’s exemption for transportation workers “engaged in interstate commerce” only covers groups of workers whose work predominantly involves transportation of goods across state lines. Archis A. Parasharami of Mayer Brown LLP and the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber.
