U.S. Chamber urges Fifth Circuit to reverse certification of securities class action
October 17, 2017
The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus brief in the Fifth Circuit arguing that the lower courts erred by depriving defendants of the opportunity under Halliburton II to rebut Basic’s presumption of reliance.
Vincent Levy, Daniel M. Sullivan, and Sarah M. Sternlieb of Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center.
