Ninth Circuit upholds certification of injunctive class action
April 26, 2010
The Ninth Circuit ruled that certification for the class of female Wal-Mart employees was proper, and that the female workers can collectively pursue claims seeking back pay. The Ninth Circuit also sent claims of employees who had left Wal-Mart back to the district court for decisions on whether those allegations can be included in the class.
