U.S. Chamber urges Supreme Court to review circuit split on class action ascertainability issue

The Chamber and American Tort Reform Association filed an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to resolve a split over whether a court may certify a damages class action without verifying that there is an objective, administratively feasible way of identifying members of the class.
Anton Metlitsky and Hannah Y.S. Chanoine of O'Melveny & Myers LLP served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center.
