U.S. Chamber files coalition amicus brief
May 14, 2021
The coalition amicus brief supports a rule providing work authorizations for spouses of H-1B workers who have been approved for permanent residency but who are waiting for green cards to become available, where invalidation of the rule would sever tens of thousands of existing employment relationships across the country.
Paul W. Hughes and Andrew A. Lyons-Berg of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and the U.S. Chamber’s Litigation Center served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber.
