U.S. Chamber files amicus letter brief in support of petitions for stay of preliminary injunction pending appeal
August 18, 2020
The U.S. Chamber filed an amicus letter brief in support of petitions for stay of preliminary injunction pending appeal, arguing that otherwise requiring businesses to radically restructure operations in California during appeal would irreparably harm those businesses, as well as workers and consumers in California.
Jeremy B. Rosen, Steven S. Fleischman, and Felix Shafir of Horvitz & Levy LLP served as co-counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the U.S. Chamber Litigation Center.
The U.S. Chamber previously led a coalition amicus brief in the superior court in opposition to the preliminary injunction sought by the California Attorney General.
