Georgia Supreme Court discredits unscientific testimony in asbestos exposure case

The Georgia Supreme Court reversed the trial court’s damages award. Agreeing with the employer, the court rejected the “any exposure” causation theory, explaining it does not “fit” the legal standard for causation under Georgia state law.
