About Bruce

Bruce Horovitz is a national freelance journalist who regularly writes for TIME Magazine, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. He was USA TODAY’S marketing reporter for 20 years and before that wrote the Marketing Column for the Los Angeles Times for a decade. His book of poetry, Explaining Everything, was published in 1984 by Cleveland State University Press. His novel, The Last Freak Show, will be published in 2023. Bruce is a volunteer at the Arlington Food Assistance Center in Arlington, VA, and at Bailey’s Homeless Shelter in Falls Church, VA.
