About Darianna Bridal & Tuxedo

We are a family-founded and owned bridal and tuxedo store. After my wife Wendy became frustrated that there was no place for our oldest daughter to shop for prom dresses near our home, we created a business plan on the back of an airline napkin on the way back from a wedding. Three months later, we opened Darianna Bridal & Tuxedo and it was an immediate success. The stores name is the combination of our daughters names: Daria and Deanna. We had absolutely no bridal, formal wear or retail experience! Before opening, we studied online reviews throughout the United States and learned that there were three things that caused a bad customer experience at a bridal, tuxedo and prom store: 1) the stores were dirty (we keep a VERY clean store); 2) some store employees are not truthful with their customers (we tell the truth, whether the customer likes it or not) and 3) the staff in some stores can be somewhat mean to the customer (we have a very kind staff). We call it our kindergarten business plan: clean up after yourself, dont lie and be nice! Within 6 months of opening our store, we were so busy that we were out of room! We then built a very large and beautiful store and moved in in 2015. In 2020, the world ended, twice, for us. Of courses COVID arrived, but on March 5, 2020 my wife passed out from what we believe was COVID and severed her spine. She was not expected to live. Our two daughers were distraught at their mothers condition in the hospital and then the world shut down due to COVID a few weeks later. We were unable to visit Wendy due to the shut down. Then came the forced store shut down of our store. We thought we were going to lose everything, a mother, a wife, our store and our house. Wendy survived however was left disabled and unable to work any more. She can no longer use her hands, has a very difficult time walking and standing. After the COVID shutdown ended, our oldest daughter, Daria stepped up and ran the bridal and mother of the bride and groom side of the business. I, Franco ran the tuxedo side and began hiring more employees. Between running the business and helping my wife rehabilitate, our business truly exploded. Within a year, our sales doubled from pre-pandemic sales levels. Sale continue to grow today. Deanna, the other part of our companys name now works on our social media, videos and assists during prom season. It is truly a family affair. We are grateful for the opportunity that this business has given us and love what we do! We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and being active members of three different local chambers of commerce. Any customer can text our stores telephone number and receive an immediate reponse from us (a live person!). We have been featured on apple.com, in CO and square.com.
