Holidaily Brewing Company is the countrys only Certified Woman Owned brewery in the United States, and the only Certified Gluten Free brewery in the United States. Therefore, we are the largest brewery in the United States in both of those categories. We have taken on this challenge in a traditionally male dominated business. The lack of quality ingredients and brewing knowledge within the gluten-free beer segment is exposed in the poor flavor these beers offer. Holidaily has embarked on state of the art brewing processes for gluten-free beer, including utilizing actual gluten-free grain, making our products one of the first in the country and the world to utilize these higher quality ingredients, equipment and processes. Karen W. Hertz is the founder of Holidaily Brewing Company. In her early 30s, Karen survived both melanoma and thyroid cancers, leading to a treatment regimen including a gluten-free diet. After adopting a gluten-free diet, Karen struggled to find a great tasting, 100% gluten-free beer. If the lack of quality gluten-free options was a challenge for her, she thought it certainly was a challenge for others as well. With an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Colorado and 15 years of beer industry experience under her belt, Hertz researched gluten-free ingredients, tested alternatives, and gained an understanding of brewing processes in order to create a better solution. Thus, the idea for Holidaily Brewing Company was born. Holidaily has won hardware in several of the last Great American Beer Festivals and the brewery was recognized as Colorados Craft Brewery of the Year as well as Colorados Woman Owned Business of the Year. In 2023, Karen W Hertz receive the Enterprising Woman of the Year and the Colorado Manufacturing Woman of the Year. The COO, Laura Ukowich, also won a C-Suite Award in 2023 which is presented to innovative leaders who have demonstrated outstanding performance, strategic vision, and unparalleled commitment to their business. Being recognized at one of the countrys Top 100 Businesses would be a crowning acheivement. We throw around world domination as a tongue in cheek goal, but being able to expand our business through recognition across the United States is definitely a realistic goal.
