Founded in 2020, Piko Provisions is a certified disability-owned small business enterprise specialized in the manufacturing and sales of Hawaiis leading baby food connecting families with Native Hawaiian ingredients and the community of stewards directly around them at their very first tastes of life. The companys mission as a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) is to nourish the next generation and regenerate local food systems by producing the highest quality foods possible. Honoring our ancestors through healing the present and stewarding a more regenerative future through food.
The company brings together conscious consumer food trends with traditional staple crops that have nourished families in Hawaii and the Pacific for generations. All Piko Provisions products are third-party tested for over 300 heavy metals, toxic chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, and plasticizers, and the company has been awarded the Purity Award from Clean Label Project, meaning their products are among the purest in the world tested.
Piko Provisions has scaled up from a 500 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Waipahu to a new 2,400 sq. ft. facility on the island of Oahu. In this larger facility, the company will increase production of its existing baby food pur products as well as introduce new products that feature soft and solid foods for older children to be able to raise children from infancy up through adolescence on pure, healthy, local food.
