The Cavern Men's Barber Lounge

My name is Sabina Gabriele and I own The Cavern Men's Barber Lounge LLC in Colorado Springs, CO. I opened my business in June of 2021, right after the covid shut down. My ultimate goal for my business was to be more than just a barbershop I wanted to create something completely different within the barbering industry. We offer a variety of services for our clients ranging from haircuts, beard details, straight razor face shaves, razor fades, waxing services, and facials. My main focus is offering our clientele a relaxing environment, we have a beer/wine license and that has drastically separated us from other barbershops within the area, every client receives a complimentary beverage with their service. Our clients love coming in after a long day at work, being able to sit down, enjoy a cold beverage, and receiving one of our relaxing services. I believe my business has become very successful over the last 3 years not just because of me but also because of my team. I have been fortunate enough to find an amazing group of talented individuals with exceptional customer service. Everyone who walks through our doors are treated like family. Having a successful business takes more than just one person, I am a firm believer that the individuals you hire will make or break a businesses reputation so I take that into consideration before adding on someone new to our team. When I first opened my business I had no idea that it would become so successful and profitable in as little as 3 years. I am a very motivated individual and pour my heart and soul into my team, clients, and our reputation. I try to get involved within the community as much as possible by sponsoring Veteran events, helping schools with cuts for kids events, getting involved in networking events, and a lot of different marketing strategies. With all of the extra work being put in has really helped The Cavern flourish and weve over doubled our clientele bringing in about 40,000 clients in 2023. I became a single mom at the age of 21 in 2016. It was a really difficult time in my life but my inspiration to opening my own business has always been my daughter. The biggest goal in life was to be able to give her the best life I possibly could. My daughter has always been my drive to keep working hard and focus on expanding my company. In July of 2024 I opened my second location and it has been doing better than expected! My future goal is to open more locations in Colorado, and eventually in other states. I wanted to apply for this in hopes of being able to get my name and business out there, I will continue to do what I can to keep growing as a business owner, and possibly one day be able to inspire others that their goals and dreams can become a reality with hard work and determination.
