Addressing human trafficking is complex and requires a united and coordinated approach to end it. No single organization, corporation, or government can end the scourge of this heinous crime alone—our best hope is an approach that engages all of society.

The Combating Human Trafficking: 2022–2023 Events highlights the activities of anti-trafficking forums hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

On July 26, 2022, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and United Way Worldwide are hosted a reception to unveil the publication, Trust by Performance. This reception featured remarks from representatives from the United Way Center to Center Trafficking and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

On January 25, 2023, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Department of Transportation, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security hosted Transportation Sector Efforts to Combat Human Trafficking: The Power of Public-Private Partnerships. This event highlighted the role that businesses can play in preventing human trafficking and feature a discussion of best practices by top experts from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and federal, state, and local entities.

On July 17, 2023, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted The Role of Public-Private Partnerships to Combat Human Trafficking. This event focused on the role that businesses play in preventing human trafficking and featured a discussion of best practices by experts from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and federal, state, and local entities. Donna Hutto Edwards, first lady of Louisiana, and Marty Kemp, first lady of Georgia, provided an overview of the National Coalition for the Prevention of Human Sex Trafficking, an initiative made up of first spouses who have pledged to leverage their leadership platforms to raise awareness to prevent of sex trafficking.

On November 13, 2024, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted Combating Forced Labor in Supply Chains. This event focused on business stakeholder engagement in managing supply chain risks and feature a discussion of best practices by experts from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and federal, state, and local entities. Panelists also discussed the implementation of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) and its implications for businesses.
