WASHINGTON, D.C.– In response to today’s announcement of Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs around the nation, Kendall Stephenson, Manager at the U.S. Chamber’s Global Energy Institute, made the following statement:
“We applaud DOE’s leadership and commitment to ensuring the success of the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs that will serve as the foundation of America’s future hydrogen economy. These H2Hubs will help local communities benefit from clean energy investments, establish good-paying jobs, and accelerate the use of hydrogen as a clean energy solution. For the hubs to be successful, this announcement must soon be followed by pragmatic and clear 45V guidance from the Department of Treasury supporting the development of clean hydrogen supply chains and allowing the significant pipeline of hydrogen production announcements to reach a final investment decision. We look forward to working with the Administration on implementation.”
