Marty Durbin, President of the U.S. Chamber’s Global Energy Institute, today issued the following statement following the House of Representative’s passage of the Great American Outdoors Act:
"It is encouraging in this era of partisan gridlock to see bipartisan legislation move through Congress so swiftly. The urgency of its passage underscores the importance of the issues addressed in the Great American Outdoors Act. During this time of economic uncertainty, we are particularly pleased to see the permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which uses oil and gas revenues to help companies and communities promote open spaces, build resilience, reduce risks from future disasters, and better manage stormwater. We look forward to President Trump’s signature on this bill."
