On February 4, 2022 the Chamber filed a FOIA request asking for all records between the FTC and the European Commission or other foreign jurisdictions regarding the Illumina-Grail transaction since November 23, 2020.
On July 14, 2022, the Chamber sued the FTC for failing to make public these records, among others.
On January 23, 2023, the FTC responded with the attached records and a production letter on the records' release. The Chamber put together the attached background note outlining the Chamber's approach to the FOIA request as well as findings from those records.
