TO THE MEMBERS OF THE U.S. SENATE: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017 (BCRA). The Chamber will consider including votes on, or in relation to, this bill—including votes on the Motion to Proceed—in our annual How They Voted scorecard.
This Key Vote Alert! letter was sent to all members of the United States Senate in support of the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017. This bill takes critical steps to: reduce premiums by repealing taxes; stabilize the individual market by providing billions of dollars to states through significant funding provisions, and; restore coverage choice and flexibility by repealing prescriptive rules.
This Key Vote Alert! letter was sent to all members of the U.S. House of Representatives in support of H.R. 1215, the Protecting Access to Care Act of 2017. This legislation would make much needed reforms to the nation's medical liability system.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, this letter was sent to the members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee opposing any amendments that may be offered to H.R. 2430, the FDA Reauthorization Act (FDARA) of 2017, that would allow the importation of foreign pharmaceuticals into the United States or that would undermine the preemptive authority of federal food and drug regulations.
