Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Jim Costa to represent California’s Twenty-First Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.
“As a life-long Californian, Representative Jim Costa understands the needs and challenges facing the state’s families and workers,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce Western Region Vice President, Jennings Imel. “Rep. Costa has a proven record of pursuing pro-growth policies and free enterprise solutions that will move California and our nation forward. We are proud to support Congressman Jim Costa in his re-election.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for my re-election,” said Congressman Jim Costa. “We are confronting challenging economic times and need to seek bipartisan solutions so we can move forward. When I return to Congress, I will continue to take care of my district and the nation by working with the Chamber to advance economic growth, help to create jobs and promote fiscal responsibility.”
“We need bi-partisan leaders like Congressman Jim Costa who recognize the need to help business owners continue to grow and create jobs,” said Richard Caglia, President of Caglia Environmental based in Fresno, California. “I appreciate how Jim looks out for his district and businesses like mine so that we can keep growing and giving back to our community.”
