WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Sam Graves to represent Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will stand up for free enterprise, including by vigorously advocating for public policy solutions that will spur economic growth, support jobs, and promote businesses of all sizes’ ability to continue to innovate and invest in America.
“Chairman Sam Graves is a respected leader in Congress on issues crucial to Missouri and the nation. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse him for re-election to continue representing the constituents and businesses of the 6th District of Missouri,” said John Gonzales, Executive Director with the U.S. Chamber’s Regional Team. “Chairman Graves is a champion for pro-growth policies that support small businesses and working families. Serving as Chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and a member of Armed Services, he is committed to protecting American interest and leadership in the world. The U.S. Chamber looks forward to continuing to work with him in the 119th Congress.”
“I greatly appreciate the endorsement from the Chamber. As a small businessman and farmer, I know the importance of less regulations and lower taxes. I've fought to ensure that we enact pro-growth policies; we must continue to reduce burdensome regulations and extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act cuts to ensure our job creators are able to not only survive but grow their businesses,” said Congressman Graves. “I look forward to working with the Chamber over the next few years to create an environment that grows the economy.”
