Our Work
The U.S. Chamber supports federal candidates committed to policies that help businesses improve lives, solve problems, and advance society. We carefully evaluate, interview, and ultimately endorse candidates who will stand up for free enterprise, including by vigorously advocating for public policy solutions that will spur economic growth, support jobs, and promote the ability of businesses of all sizes to continue to innovate and invest in America. We also support candidates who are opposed to legislation that stifles innovation and undermines economic potential. The U.S. Chamber holds lawmakers accountable by sending key vote letters to lawmakers on consequential pieces of legislation—we make it clear which policies will help foster a healthy business environment and which will harm it.

The U.S. Chamber held its inaugural “Free Enterprise Forum” in July. This was the first of its kind event to bring together Chamber members, employees, subject matter experts, and a handful of carefully selected potential new Members of Congress.
