Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Tom Rice (R) to continue to represent South Carolina’s Seventh Congressional District in the next Congress. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, create jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

During remarks today in South Carolina with U.S. Chamber Senior Political Strategist Ashlee Rich Stephenson hailed Rep. Rice’s commitment to “jobs, jobs, jobs” by ending burdensome regulations, cutting taxes and for his focus on American competitiveness and reducing unemployment in his district.
“Commerce is the pathway to the American dream,” Rep. Rice said. “I am so honored to receive this endorsement. I am a Chamber of Commerce Republican.”
