Marty Durbin, President of the U.S. Chamber's Global Energy Institute, issued the below statement following FERC's announcement today regarding pipeline policies.

"Over the past several weeks, the Chamber and many others have expressed concern about FERC’s new pipeline policy statements, which contain serious legal defects and could significantly hinder our ability to meet growing energy demand at home and abroad. We are pleased that FERC has announced that it has decided to redesignate the statements as drafts and engage with stakeholders about the need to ensure continued progress on critical pipeline infrastructure that will deliver clean, affordable and reliable natural gas to Americans and overseas allies. We look forward to participating in that engagement."
