WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce along with a coalition of over 40 national business and labor groups today sent a letter to President Trump and Congressional leaders urging them to resume action on infrastructure legislation this year.
U.S. Chamber Vice President of Transportation and Infrastructure Ed Mortimer released the following statement today on the coalition letter. Mortimer also serves as Executive Director for the Americans for Transportation Mobility coalition, a business-labor effort to promote the importance of transportation investment.
“The urgent needs for increased investment in America’s infrastructure continue to grow and our nation’s economic vitality and quality of life are at stake. Our large stakeholder group of business and labor will not rest until the Administration and Congress come together to enact an infrastructure modernization bill this year.”
