“We commend President Biden and his administration for ending the so-called ‘Muslim Ban.’ Ending this arbitrary policy affirms our nation’s values and our commitment to due process in U.S. immigration policy welcoming all peoples to America. While we support measure to screen for security, an outright ban on entire nations was not aligned with American values. We must reengage in the world, reaffirm American leadership through sound policies, and restore our credibility on the global stage. This is a step in the right direction.”
