‘Tax reform is the engine that will power economic growth for years to come’
WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley issued the following statement today after the House Ways and Means Committee passed its tax reform legislation out of committee:
“The tax reform legislation reported out of the Ways and Means Committee today is a growth bill – achieving faster economic growth, encouraging job creation, and getting more money in Americans’ pockets each year. Chairman Brady faithfully kept those goals in mind as the committee worked toward this historic overhaul of the tax code.
“It’s important to keep in mind that tax reform is the engine that will power economic growth for years to come.
“The U.S. Chamber encourages all members of the House to examine the overall positive impact of this legislation in their districts. We look forward to working with the House and the Senate to continue refining the measure to make it as pro-growth as possible.”
