Council Priorities
The U.S.-Korea Business Council has three main priorities:
- Advocate for American business interests in Korea with the Korean and U.S. governments, and address problems that inhibit two-way trade and investment between the U.S. and Korea
- Ensure that the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement continues to deliver benefits to both economies, and that the two governments adhere to the letter and spirit of the FTA
- Promote digital trade and a positive, light-touch regulatory environment for the digital economy that will enable countries to benefit from new business models and emerging technologies.
