WASHINGTON, D.C.— U.S. Chamber Senior Vice President for Cyber, Intelligence, and Security Policy Christopher D. Roberti issued the following statement regarding passage of H.R. 3359, critical cybersecurity legislation:

“The U.S. Chamber applauds passage of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Act, legislation to bolster public-private partnerships to help ensure businesses have the resources and support necessary before, during, and after a cyber incident. We are also encouraged that the National Protection and Programs Directorate will be renamed to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to better reflect the critical mission of the agency. We hope to see this legislation signed into law quickly.”

The U.S. Chamber previously sent a letter in support of the legislation to Senate leadership.
