WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley issued the following statement in response to the release of a new National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) report on the mobile application store ecosystem.
"Today’s NTIA report seeks to breathe life into deeply flawed legislative efforts that failed in the last Congress. By its own admission, NTIA acknowledges the tremendous growth and benefit derived from the mobile ecosystem, signs that competition is indeed vibrant. However, competition requires the government to remain technology neutral and agnostic to various business models, instead allowing consumers to weigh the value they place on price, choice, security and privacy."
